Parent Commissioning at Idlewild Baptist Church – Partnering with You from the Start
At Idlewild, we believe that parents are the primary spiritual leaders in the lives of their children – and you do not have to walk that journey alone. Parent Commissioning is a special milestone where families publicly commit to raising their children in a Christ centered home, supported by a loving church community. During the Parent Commissioning, you’ll be encouraged, prayed over, and reminded that Idlewild is here to walk with you every step of the way. Whether you’re welcoming a newborn or stepping into a new season of parenting, this is your opportunity to say, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Join us and take the first step in laying a strong, gospel-centered foundation for your family.
